The 1953 North Sea flood was remembered by the NOS with a series of short newsreels about the events.
Seventy years ago, a combination of a spring tide and a severe storm caused the North Sea flood in the night from Saturday, January 31 to Sunday, February 1, 1953. The Zeeland dykes were breached and large parts of Zeeland and South Holland were flooded. In a series of five short newsreels, the viewer was taken to this event.
Faber provided the projection and other AV facilities for this television production.
