Intro

North Sea Jazz is one of the largest soul and jazz festivals in the world. Internationally recognized for showcasing the past, present, and future of jazz. Faber is the video partner of this unique event, offering different solutions.

Enhancing performances with projection and LED screens

We supplied all the LED screens required for the various stages, including backdrops and IMAG screens (screens positioned on the left and right of the stage). Apart from LED screens, we also supplied projectors. Furthermore, we ensured seamless coordination of content playout, resulting in a remarkable concert experience.

Complete broadcast and production service

Our involvement extended beyond visual installations. We were also in charge of live recording the performances, we filmed and broadcasted the acts live on the screens. Our services included cameras, skilled operators, and a portable production unit. We also shared the recordings with NTR, a Dutch broadcasting company. We were able to efficiently utilize these recordings for two purposes.

Visual Crowd Information System (VCIS)

In addition to supplying screens for the stages, we developed the Visual Crowd Information System (VCIS). This system enabled the festival organizers to communicate important safety information to the attendees. Throughout the site, strategically placed screens displayed vital safety updates.
