February 2023 marks the 50th edition of the ABN AMRO Open, our country’s premier tennis and wheelchair tennis tournament. The ABN AMRO Open owes its good reputation to a constant search for innovation. As a result, it has become a versatile event for everyone: business and private, young and old, sporty and socially interested. Faber has been a permanent partner for this prestigious ATP 500 tournament for more than 20 years. With video and content solutions, we provide the thousands of spectators with an impressive visual experience. To make it the most appealing sporting experience together, we offer a total package of creation, project management, technical support and materials.

Tailored solutions

Centre Court, other tennis courts and Show court

For displaying content, we provided various LED screens and boarding. We constructed LED screens above the Centre Court. Around the court we placed LED boarding, just like on the first ring. In addition to the Centre Court, matches were played on 7 other tennis courts. We shared scores, schedules and statistics with the public via LED screens at each of these courts. The organization built a Show court where clinics for children were organized. We also placed LED screens at this court and provided content.

Dynamic Content Generation

The tournament organization offers a continuous stream of raw data: live scores, match schedules, news, statistics, and so on. For past editions, we organized the visual presentation of this content with our subsidiary company Creative Animal. We made sure that all the data could be presented quickly in a graphically attractive format. For this we developed special software that automatically makes the content suitable for the various screens. Around 150 displays were hung throughout Ahoy on which visitors could see live scores, check match schedules and statistics, and review highlights from matches.
